    Pam Mezzina
LCSW, Center Director/Counselor I believe that most of us have untapped strengths and resources that can be drawn upon to cope with challenges, heal, and reach our goals. My job is to create safe and compassionate settings in which individuals, families, and groups can discover these resources and strengths. I strive to create a relaxing space in which people can connect to self, to others, or to information and vital resources. The desired result? Inspiration. Healing. Hope. The ability to better cope with life’s challenges. Improved sense of self-worth and wellness. Personal and/or professional growth. Since 1994, I have specialized in providing grief education, bereavement counseling to individuals and groups, coordinating remembrance events, offering crisis support, and advocating for grief and trauma-friendly schools, workplaces, and communities. I enjoy working with people of all ages in a variety of settings. I spent many years working with young people but I also enjoy working with adults and seniors. I am passionate about helping survivors of suicide and other traumatic losses, and working in group settings. As an animal lover, I have a special affinity for working with those who have lost pets. And in the last few years, I have seen the benefits of Therapeutic Touch for my clients and the importance of lifestyle changes that promote a sense of overall wellness.
